What types of therapy do you offer at Conquer Counseling?
We offer individual counseling, family therapy, Christian counseling, and immigration evaluations. Our approach is customized to meet your unique needs, utilizing techniques like EMDR, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.
Who can benefit from your services?
Our services are designed for women and teenagers facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life stressors. We provide a safe space for anyone looking to improve their mental health and emotional well-being.
How do I get started?
To begin, simply contact us for a free 10-minute consultation. We’ll discuss your needs and help you schedule your first session, either in-person or online.
What can I expect during my first session?
In your first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss your goals and any specific challenges you’re facing, allowing us to create a personalized plan moving forward.
How often will I need to attend sessions?
The frequency of sessions varies based on your individual needs and goals. Many clients start with weekly sessions, but we can adjust the schedule as you progress.
Is online therapy effective?
Absolutely! Our online therapy services are designed to be just as effective as in-person sessions. They offer convenience and flexibility while maintaining confidentiality and a supportive environment.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we accept several insurance plans, including Aetna, UHC/Optum, and Cigna. We can provide a superbill for reimbursement if your insurance is not directly accepted.
What if I can’t afford therapy?
We understand that finances can be a barrier, so we offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments. Please don’t hesitate to reach out; we want to help you access the support you need.
Can I bring a family member or friend to my session?
While our sessions are typically one-on-one, we can arrange for family members or friends to attend if their support is important to your healing process. Just let us know in advance!
What should I do if I’m in crisis?
If you are in crisis or have thoughts of self-harm, please seek immediate help by calling 1-800-273-8255 (National Suicide Prevention Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room. Conquer Counseling does not offer emergency services.
